Church Picnic 2023

The annual Church picnic was held on National Day – Wednesday, 9th August 2023, at Casuarina Grove, East Coast Park from 9 am -5.30 pm. The kick-off was at 9.30am with a word of prayer. There were 213 active registrants with 60 kids and over 30 enthusiastic volunteers who supported and coordinated all activities throughout the day. The theme was ‘Retro’ and some 90’s games such as Biting the Bun, Lemon & Spoon, Musical Chair and Kho- Kho were revisited. MCC Mother’s Day

The Marymount Community Club (MCC) in conjunction with the Marymount Religious and Racial Harmony Circle (MRRHC) organised the 2023 MCC Mother’s Day celebration on Saturday, 6 May from 6.30 to 9.30 pm. Participation was solicited from residents and religious organisation within the constituency. Our parish reserved a table through MRRHC, and was represented by seven members. MTYF Board Games Bonanza

Board Games Bonanza, organised by the Fellowship Team of MTYF, was held on 31st March at 6.30 pm, in the Attic of our Church. The event had a large variety of board games such as chess, monopoly, and other card games which were free and easy for the youth to use. There were some curated games as well to encourage interaction between the youth. There were snacks and refreshments contributed by the youth as well. VBS 2019

Mar Thoma Syrian Church in Singapore Sunday School’s Vacation Bible School 2019 was held from 27-29 June 2019 with the theme God’s Masterpiece. It was led by the young, inspiring missionary Achen – Allan T Samuel. With the guidance of our vicar, Alex Thomas Achen, Sunday School Principal, Ajit Abraham, 14 Teachers and 28 youth and adult volunteers, the children had a memorable two and a half days – raising voices in song, learning together, discovering that each one is God’s masterpiece – called to obey and do what our Lord would want us to do, especially with our senses…
