September 30, 202690th Anniversary Celebrations Update As we move into the next phase of our 90th Anniversary journey, several key initiatives are progressing from planning and collection into review, preservation, and celebration. We thank all members for your continued participation, encouragement, and support. The success of these initiatives is a reflection of the collective efforts of our parish family as we continue to journey together under the theme “By Faith – This Far & Beyond.”
September 29, 202627-29 September – Sabha Pratinidhi Mandalam Annual Meeting This year’s Mandalam took place from the 27-29th September and concluded successfully with the Devotional message reminding us of our responsibility to be Messengers of the Good News. The Presidential Address exhorted the delegates to deliberate and decide through Respect, Love and Accountability. Delegates were reminded that the Church existed for its non-members and its members were to embrace change and for Mission work to grow through partnering with others.
September 20, 202620 September – Sevika Sangham Food Sales This year’s Sevika Sangham food sale was held on Sunday, 20 September in the pantry on level 1 soon after worship and after the prayer by Rev. Raj Elias Varghese. Members prepared different cuisines that catered to the needs of all.
September 13, 202613 September – Suvishesha Sevika Sangham Day The Sevika Sangham Day was observed on Sunday, 13 September. The theme designated for the Sunday was- ‘Women Who Trust God: Fearless and Faithful’. The Sevika Sangham members of the Parish assisted our Vicar, Rev Raj Elias Varghese in various capacities in the English Holy Communion service, serving as Deacons, in leading the special order of worship, as Bible readers, ushers and in other vital roles.*

September 1, 2026Mar Thoma Theological Seminary Centenary Celebrations By the abundant grace of God, Kottayam Mar Thoma Theological Seminary is in its centenary year, 2026. For a hundred years, the Seminary has been the heartbeat of our Church – raising up priests devoted to the gospel of Christ. Their faithful witness and ministry have enriched not only our Church, but also the wider Christian community and society at large.
August 29, 2026Alexander Marthoma Valiya Metropolitan Memorial Lectures (AMML 2026) By the grace of God, the parish, under the aegis of Edavaka Mission, was able to conduct 20th AMMML over 2 days in Aug 2026. This year’s keynote speaker was Rev Dr Susheel C Cherian, Professor of New Testament at Mar Thoma Theological Seminary Kottayam, and former vicar of Singapore Parish (2009-2012).
