2024 Education Fund Support To Children of Financially Challenged Members 

As part of our church’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations in 2012, it was decided that the church should bless and make a difference through academic support for financially challenged students in the larger community. With this in mind, the Agape Bursaries and the Prime Awards were instituted. As we reach out to the needy in society, it begged the question as to whether we should also offer a helping hand to the children of our own officially registered members, who may be facing financial challenges. World Sunday School Day is celebrated to remember the Sunday School movement which was started to educate the youth as well as keep them from harms way like crime. Over the years the movement has flourished in the Christian world with the focus on teaching Biblical truths to children and youths. In our parish it will celebrated on Sunday, 19 November. OneMillionTrees Movement

Singapore’s OneMillionTrees movement is a nationwide effort to plant a million more trees across the island over the next 10 years thus bringing the number of trees here to more than 8 million. Launched in April 2020, this movement is a concerted effort by NParks to increase the number of trees it plants annually throughout Singapore. By ramping up this effort, it will improve our urban environment and enhance our resilience towards climate change, ultimately transforming Singapore into a City in Nature. Christian Family Dedication Day 2023

This year, the Christian Family Dedication Day was celebrated on Sunday, 29 Oct 2023. About 300 parish members and guests in-person and 275 via Live Stream, attended the Holy Qurbana worship service. The Holy Qurbana service was celebrated by Senior Vicar-General, Very Rev. George Mathew along with our Vicar, Rev. Gino S Philip and assisted by deacons, Rony and Reenu. The 2023 Parish Convention was held on the 28th and 29th of October and it was organised by the Edavaka Mission of the parish. Sunday, 29th Oct was also celebrated as Christian Family Dedication day. The theme for this year’s convention was ‘ Faith amidst disruption’. We were blessed to have our Senior Vicar-General, Very Rev George Mathew, to lead the convention and we were enriched by his inspiring messages. Marymount Harmony Circle Quarterly Meeting 

We had the privilege of hosting the quarterly meeting (October 2023) of the Marymount Harmony Circle (MHC) at Prayer Hall 1 on 26 October 2023 from 8.00 to 9.30 pm. These meetings are held on a rotational basis, at the premises of various religious organisations, situated within the MHC.The chairman expressed MHC’s sincere appreciation to our church for graciously agreeing to their request for the use of our premises. Youth Sunday 2023

Youth Sunday was celebrated on 15 October. The theme for Youth Sunday this year was “Youth with Christ”, and youths across various age groups led various aspects of the service such as Praise and Worship, deacons, ushers and Bible readers. The MTVEA day was observed on Sunday, 8th October 2023.The theme for the day was “Christian Presence in Differing Life Spaces”. Edavaka Mission committee members assisted Rev.
