By the abundant grace of God, Kottayam Mar Thoma Theological Seminary is in its centenary year, 2026. For a hundred years, the Seminary has been the heartbeat of our Church – raising up priests devoted to the gospel of Christ. Their faithful witness and ministry have enriched not only our Church, but also the wider Christian community and society at large. The Church assigned Rev. Dr. Susheel C. EXAMINATION PREPARATION WORKSHOP

An Exam Stress Management Workshop for students and parents was conducted on 22nd August 2026 to support families in managing the academic, emotional, and relational pressures surrounding examinations. The session was facilitated by mental health Counsellor Sara Abraham (Trisha) and former Deputy Principal Mary George Cheriyan (Jenny), with support from volunteers MOE Teacher P. K. Abraham and People & Culture Manager Ann Sara Abraham. A total of seven students and their parents attended. The workshop included joint and concurrent sessions for parents and students. MIGRANT WORKER OUTREACH MISSION (MWOM)

The MWOM held a migrant worker outreach programme on Sunday, 16 Aug 2026, at Prayer Hall 1. We had a turnout of 33 migrant workers (MWs) from various dormitories. Lunch was provided, and games were played to foster friendship. Gifts and tracts were also given out, together with NTUC cash vouchers. To celebrate the recent National Day in Singapore and Independence Day in India (15 Aug), both the National Anthems were sung. NCCS NATIONAL DAY THANKSGIVING SERVICE 2026 (NTDS 2026)

On Thursday, 13 August, the National Council of Churches in Singapore conducted the National Day Thanksgiving Service in conjunction with the 61st National Day on 9 August, acknowledging God’s providence and care, and seeking His blessings and guidance for our leaders and people. Held at St Andrew’s Cathedral New Sanctuary, the message was delivered by Rt. Rev. Dr. Caleb Soo, the Synod Moderator of The Presbyterian Church in Singapore, on “Faith and the Course of National History”. Annual Church Picnic 2026

The Annual Church Picnic held on Saturday, 8th August 2026, was a wonderful success. We were blessed with great weather, a strong turnout, and a day full of fun and fellowship. Despite many members being away for the long National Day weekend, the event was well attended, with 120 participants, of which 29 were seniors and 22 kids, who gathered at East Coast Park for a day of relaxation and community building. Alexander Mar Thoma Valiya Metropolitan Memorial Lecture XX will be delivered by Rev. Dr. Susheel C. Women’s Ecumenical Fellowship – 2026

This year’s Women’s Ecumenical Fellowship Retreat was hosted by the Mar Thoma Suvisesha Sevika Sangham on Saturday, 25 July 2026. The Retreat started with a Worship Service led by Raj Achen, with Fr Joby George, Vicar of St Thomas Orthodox Syrian Cathedral and Rev.
