Dr. Shiju Samuel, Vicar, CSI Immanuel Congregation, Singapore, on the topic “Church in the age of AI” on Saturday 26 Aug at 6:30 pm in the church sanctuary. National Day Thanksgiving Service 2023

National Day Thanksgiving Service was held on Thursday, 17 August at 7.45 pm at the Cathedral New Sanctuary, St Andrews Cathedral, to celebrate the 58th National Day of Singapore. NCCS President, Bishop Lu Guan Hoe preached on the topic ‘May all the people praise You, God,’ based on Psalms 67:1-7. Song items were presented by choirs from churches in Singapore. NCCS committee members led the prayer session. Gino Achen and 8 members of our parish attended this thanksgiving service.

Church Picnic 2023

The annual Church picnic was held on National Day – Wednesday, 9th August 2023, at Casuarina Grove, East Coast Park from 9 am -5.30 pm. The kick-off was at 9.30am with a word of prayer. There were 213 active registrants with 60 kids and over 30 enthusiastic volunteers who supported and coordinated all activities throughout the day. The theme was ‘Retro’ and some 90’s games such as Biting the Bun, Lemon & Spoon, Musical Chair and Kho- Kho were revisited. Back by popular demand, the MTYF will be organising another Virtual Race in the month of August 2023. His Grace The Most Rev. Dr. Theodosius Mar Thoma Metropolitan, made his introductory visit to our parish from Friday, 7 July to Sunday, 9 July 2023, to coincide with our 87th Parish Day celebrations / public meeting. Senior Citizens with the Metropolitan

Interactive Session with the Metropolitan for the Senior Citizens’ was organised by the Edavaka Mission on Saturday 8 July at 11 am. It was attended by about 20 members. The session started with opening prayer by George Samuel and Welcome Address by George Varghees. Kochamma led the singing session. Saju and Annie John made the session lively by conducting a Bible Quiz.
